Do you want to learn how to play a Hammered Dulcimer?

OK, you've seen them, you watched them played, you may have played a CD and hear one playing on it, OR you may have even purchased one already.  Now you wondered to yourself ......hmmmmm... can I do that?  Now is the time and your chance to do just that!

You have come to the right place.  I am always looking for new students.  I will take anyone from 9 years old up to 90!  And it's never too late to learn.  Beginners thru intermediate, it doesn't matter.  You don't have to read a single note of music to be able to play one of these magnificent instruments!  You just have to have the will to do it ..... and .... a little bit of know-how.....and of course..... practicing!  I can provide you with the know-how and YOU can provide the willingness to learn and the dedication to practice.

I also have instruments that you can rent first, to see if you really want to do this, instead of investing all of that money in purchasing a hammered dulcimer.  You can take some lessons and see what you think about it.

If there are a couple of you that want to learn and car-pool, that would be great.  I'll take groups up to 3 or 4 at a time!  So bring along your friends, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, mothers or fathers with you.  We'll have a great time learning together!

Instructional Fee:

1/2 hour session - $10.00

45 min session - $15.00

1 hour session - $20.00

If there is 2-5 in your group, we will do an 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour, so that everyone has the opportunity to learn the know-how.  We'll learn songs on your very first visit and keep building from there!
