Our Policy

At Strings of Glory Tennis Club, our policies are designed to create a safe, organized, and fair environment for all players and families. Please take a moment to review the guidelines below, as they help us maintain consistency, quality instruction, and a positive experience on and off the court.

By enrolling in any program at Strings of Glory Tennis Club, participants agree to the following policies:
01
Payments and Billing
-
Tuition is billed monthly and reserves the player’s spot in the program, regardless of attendance.
-
Monthly enrollment continues automatically until a written cancellation request is submitted according to the cancellation policy.
-
Missed classes, stopped attendance, or non-attendance do not pause, reduce, or cancel billing.
-
Payments already processed are final and non-refundable.
-
Full billing, refund, cancellation, and payment-dispute terms are provided in the required Enrollment & Billing Agreement.
02
Cancellation and Refund Policy
-
A minimum of 30 days’ written notice is required to cancel monthly enrollment.
-
Written notice must be submitted by text message, email, or another written form approved by Strings of Glory Tennis Club.
-
Verbal notice, telling a coach in passing, missed attendance, or non-attendance does not count as cancellation.
-
No refunds will be issued for the current or past billing period.
-
Properly submitted cancellations apply to future billing only, according to the 30-day written notice policy.
03
Makeup Classes
-
To qualify for a makeup class, notice must be submitted at least 12 hours before the scheduled class time.
-
Players may request up to 2 makeups per month for player/family absences.
-
Makeups assigned by SOG due to class cancellations, weather, or schedule changes do not count toward the monthly request limit.
-
Missed classes without at least 12 hours’ notice may be forfeited.
-
Makeups do not roll over to the following month.
-
Once a makeup is scheduled, a missed makeup may be forfeited.
-
Makeup credits are scheduling credits only. They are not cash credits and cannot be refunded.
04
Weather Policy
-
If rain or unsafe weather begins near class time, SOG may wait up to 30 minutes to allow conditions to improve.
-
If conditions improve, class will continue.
-
If courts remain unplayable, class may be postponed or canceled by SOG.
-
If at least half of the scheduled class time has been completed before weather cancellation, no makeup will be awarded.
-
If less than half of the scheduled class time has been completed and SOG officially cancels the class due to weather, SOG may assign or approve a makeup according to the makeup policy.
-
If a player leaves before official SOG cancellation, the class may be forfeited.
-
If weather is clearly unplayable before class, SOG will send notice when possible.
-
If no message is sent, classes run as scheduled.
05
Player Conduct
-
Players are expected to show respect toward coaches, staff, other players, families, and facilities at all times.
-
Disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior may result in removal from class or program review.
-
Repeated or serious conduct issues may result in temporary or permanent dismissal from the program without refund for payments already processed.
06
Liability Waiver and Media Release Required
-
All players must complete the required Liability Waiver, Media Release, Policies & Program Agreement, and Enrollment & Billing Agreement as requested by SOG.
-
Players may not be permitted to participate until required documents are signed and received.
-
Families are expected to keep contact information current in the SOG app.
